Like standard Mepilex Foam, it is a non-bordered dressing that requires secondary fixation such as tape, a bandage, or a compression wrap.

The dressing features a Safetac silicone wound contact layer that adheres gently to intact skin without sticking to the moist wound bed. This allows for painless dressing changes and reduces trauma to fragile or sensitive skin. The Safetac layer also seals wound margins, which helps minimize the risk of maceration and has been shown to reduce the severity of skin reactions from radiotherapy treatment.
Mepilex Lite is available in 4 sizes: 6 cm x 8.5 cm, 10 cm x 10 cm, 15 cm x 15 cm, and 20 cm x 50 cm. The 20 cm x 50 cm size can be cut to fit larger or irregular wound areas. All sizes are sold in boxes of sterile dressings.
If your wound produces moderate to high exudate, standard Mepilex Foam Dressings or Mepilex Up Dressings will provide greater absorption.
