Every Mepilex Border Flex dressing uses Safetac silicone adhesive along the border, which seals wound edges to minimize maceration risk and allows for repositioning or wound inspection without loss of adhesion. The dressing is waterproof and showerproof, with a bacteria-proof film backing. It is designed for moderate to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds, and can be worn for up to 7 days depending on wound condition.
Mepilex Border Flex is available in 5 square/rectangular sizes (7.5 cm x 7.5 cm up to 15 cm x 20 cm) and 2 oval shapes (13 cm x 16 cm and 15 cm x 19 cm). All sizes are sold in boxes of 5 dressings. The oval shapes are designed for areas where a standard square dressing may not conform as well.
