Like all Mepilex Border products, this dressing features Safetac silicone adhesive along the border, which seals wound edges to minimize maceration risk and allows painless dressing changes without damaging the wound bed or surrounding skin. The dressing is self-adherent - no secondary fixation is required - and is waterproof and showerproof. It can be worn for up to 7 days depending on wound condition and may be used under compression bandages.
