They are available in 5 square sizes from 7.5 x 7.5cm up to 17.5 x 17.5cm. For wounds where adhesive contact with surrounding skin should be minimized, Biatain Silicone Non-Border dressings offer the same 3DFit foam core without an adhesive border. These require a secondary fixation method such as tape or a bandage, and can be cut to fit irregular wound shapes. They are available in 7 sizes from 5 x 7.5cm up to 20 x 20cm.
Biatain Silicone Lite dressings are a thinner, more flexible version designed for wounds with low to moderate exudate. They conform closely to the body and are less bulky under clothing, making them suitable for areas where a standard-thickness dressing would be uncomfortable. For wounds that are infected or at risk of infection, Biatain Silicone Ag dressings contain a patented silver complex for antimicrobial protection within the dressing. The same collection includes sacral dressings, which are anatomically shaped to fit the sacrum area for pressure injury prevention and treatment.
