Mepore is Mölnlycke's standard self-adhesive absorbent dressing for low to moderately exuding wounds. The absorbent pad is covered by a water-repellent, non-woven backing that protects the wound from outside contamination while allowing moisture vapour to pass through. Skin-friendly acrylic adhesive provides secure fixation with easy removal. Available in 3 sterile sizes plus 2 non-sterile cut-to-length rolls.

Mepore is designed for everyday wound management including post-surgical incisions, minor cuts, abrasions, and lacerations. The dressing is individually packaged and sterile, making it suitable for both clinical and home use. The supporting release liner makes one-piece application straightforward, even when wearing gloves.
Mepore sterile dressings are available in 3 sizes: 6 x 7cm (60/box), 9 x 10cm (50/box), and 9 x 15cm (50/box). Mepore non-sterile rolls are available in 4cm x 5m and 7cm x 5m — these can be cut to any length for custom-sized coverage.

What is the difference between Mepore and Mepore Pro?
Mepore has a water-repellent backing but is not fully showerproof. Mepore Pro has a soft elastic backing that acts as a bacterial and viral barrier and is fully showerproof. Choose Mepore Pro if you need to shower with the dressing in place or require extra protection against contamination.
Can Mepore dressings be used on fragile skin?
Mepore uses acrylic adhesive and should not be used on fragile or sensitive skin as it may cause irritation on removal. For fragile skin, consider dressings with Safetac silicone adhesion such as Mepitel or Mepilex, which are designed for gentle, pain-free removal.
What sizes does Mepore come in?
Mepore sterile dressings are available in 6 x 7cm (60/box), 9 x 10cm (50/box), and 9 x 15cm (50/box). Non-sterile Mepore rolls are available in 4cm x 5m and 7cm x 5m for cut-to-length coverage.
Is Mepore waterproof?
