Mextra Superabsorbent 22.5 x 42.5cm is a superabsorbent dressing from Molnlycke designed for moderately to highly exuding wounds. The dressing uses a unique four-layer construction: a hydrophilic wound contact layer that transmits fluid upwards, a distribution layer that directs exudate evenly, an absorbent layer with polyacrylate superabsorbent particles, and a fluid-repellent backing that prevents strike-through. The superabsorbent particles lock in exudate and have protease modulating properties that support a conducive environment for wound healing. The softened borders provide enhanced conformability and patient comfort. The 22.5 x 42.5cm size is the largest in the range, providing maximum coverage for extensive wound sites. Apply with the white side facing the wound. Do not cut this dressing. Each box contains 10 individually packaged sterile dressings.

Who Is It For

Mextra Superabsorbent 22.5 x 42.5cm is intended for use on moderately to highly exuding wounds. It can be used as a primary dressing directly on the wound or as a secondary dressing over a dressing that transfers exudate. Can be used with Mepitel or Mepitel One as a wound contact layer. Maximum wear time is 7 days.

• Change before dressing is fully saturated
• Single-use only; do not re-sterilize
