Mepitel Ag is Molnlycke's antimicrobial soft silicone wound contact layer, combining the Mepitel open mesh design with silver sulphate. The silver provides antimicrobial activity against a broad range of bacteria and fungi for up to 8 days in laboratory testing. Safetac adhesive on both sides holds the dressing gently in place without sticking to the moist wound bed, so it can be removed or repositioned without pain or damage to newly forming tissue.
The 10 x 18 cm size provides coverage for larger or elongated wounds at risk of infection such as surgical incisions, longer lacerations, burns on the forearm or lower leg, and skin graft sites.

Intended Use: Designed for exuding wounds at risk of infection including skin tears, skin abrasions, sutured and surgical wounds, partial thickness burns, skin grafts, lacerations, diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, and arterial ulcers.
