Mepiform 10 x 18cm is a self-adherent soft silicone dressing from Molnlycke designed for scar management. It is thin, discreet, and flexible, with a Safetac soft silicone contact layer that adheres gently to the skin without causing pain or trauma at removal. Mepiform is designed for the management of both old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars, and can also be used as a preventive therapy on closed wounds to reduce the risk of abnormal scarring. The 10 x 18cm size is the largest in the range and provides broad coverage for larger scars such as those from extensive surgical procedures, burn injuries, or wide-area trauma. The dressing is breathable and showerproof. It can be worn for up to 24 hours a day and reapplied after daily skin inspection. Each box contains 5 individually packaged sterile dressings.
