The Exufiber Ag+ 2 x 45cm Ribbon is a narrow-format antimicrobial gelling fibre dressing from Molnlycke designed for packing into cavity wounds, tunnelling wounds, and sinus tracts where antimicrobial protection is needed. Each sterile ribbon is made from non-woven polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres coated with silver sulphate. On contact with wound fluid, the fibres transform into a soft gel that conforms to the wound bed. The silver releases ions that are shown to inactivate a broad range of wound-related pathogens including bacteria, fungi, and moulds (in vitro). Exufiber Ag+ promotes autolytic debridement to help break down slough and support a clean wound bed. The tightly packed fibres lock in exudate while capillary action transfers fluid to the secondary dressing, reducing the risk of pooling, leakage, and maceration. The ribbon format allows loose packing into deep or irregularly shaped wounds. The dressing stays intact for clean one-piece removal. Each box contains 5 individually packaged sterile ribbon dressings.

Who Is It For
Exufiber Ag+ 2 x 45cm Ribbon is intended for use on medium to highly exuding cavity and tunnelling wounds including venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure injuries. It requires a secondary dressing for fixation. Consult your healthcare provider to determine if this dressing is appropriate for your wound care needs.
