Mepitel is Molnlycke's original two-sided soft silicone wound contact layer with Safetac technology. The transparent polyamide mesh sits directly on the wound, allowing exudate to pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing above. Safetac adhesive on both sides holds the dressing gently in place without sticking to the moist wound bed, so it can be removed or repositioned without pain or damage to newly forming tissue.
The 7.5 x 10 cm size is a versatile mid-range option suitable for moderate-sized wounds on areas such as forearms, shins, elbows, and knees.

Intended Use: Designed for exuding wounds including skin tears, skin abrasions, sutured wounds, partial thickness burns, lacerations, skin grafts, diabetic foot ulcers, and venous and arterial leg ulcers. Can also protect non-exuding wounds, blisters, and fragile skin.
