Mepitel One is Molnlycke's one-sided soft silicone wound contact layer with Safetac technology. Unlike the original two-sided Mepitel, Mepitel One has Safetac adhesive on one side and a transparent perforated polyurethane film on the other. This makes it easier to handle and allows it to be used either with a secondary absorbent dressing or as a stand-alone protective dressing on damaged or fragile skin.
The 10 x 18 cm size provides coverage for larger or elongated wounds such as surgical incisions, longer lacerations, burns on the forearm or lower leg, and skin graft sites.

Intended Use: Designed for exuding wounds including skin tears, skin abrasions, surgical incisions, partial thickness burns, traumatic wounds, skin grafts, radiated skin, and leg and foot ulcers. Can also protect non-exuding wounds, blisters, and fragile skin.
