WalkWise Smart Activity Monitor for Walkers and Rollators
SKU: RTLWWA100
Shipping: $14.95 · Free on orders over $150
Sold individually. The WalkWise by Drive Smart Activity Monitor (item RTLWWA100) attaches to a walker or rollator and sends alerts and activity data to a caregiver's phone. It works in Canada, and requires home Wi-Fi and a monthly WalkWise subscription (details below). My Everything Store sells the hardware only.
WalkWise sends a pop-up to a caregiver's phone if the walker or rollator tips over or sits unused for a long period, so family can keep an eye on a parent or loved one even from far away. It also shows how consistently the walker or rollator is being used and tracks distance and daily movement that ordinary fitness trackers miss.
The monitor works automatically in the background, and the person using the walker does not need a smartphone. A caregiver sets up the account and the free WalkWise app (iOS or Android). The system needs home Wi-Fi on a 2.4GHz network — 5GHz networks are not supported — and the included Communication Node plugs into a power outlet and connects to the home network.
WalkWise requires a monthly subscription of $14.99 per month, or $11.99 per month if paid annually. The subscription is billed and supported by WalkWise directly. My Everything Store sells the monitor hardware only and does not bill or manage the subscription.
To activate, scan the QR code on the device or visit setup.walkwisebydrive.com, then follow the WalkWise Setup Guide (a French guide is also available). For help, contact WalkWise support at walkwise@drivemedical.com or 805-242-8015.
