Sold individually (1/Each). The Multi-Ply ShearCare 1500 is a bariatric, latex-free foam mattress that redistributes pressure and reduces shear. It comes in 42-inch and 48-inch widths.
A full-width top layer of high-resilient, high-density die-cut foam spreads pressure and gives support. A high-density foam bottom layer adds stability for a heavier patient. A premium foam heel section takes pressure off the heels, where skin breakdown often starts.
It is used for pressure redistribution on a homecare or long-term-care bed for a bariatric patient. The mattress meets CFR 1632 and CFR 1633 flammability standards.
