This is a combined cold pack and OB pad for postpartum care. The cold pack inside gives cooling relief to the perineal area, while the absorbent pad on the outside is worn like a standard sanitary pad. No adhesive strip or tabs — the pad is held in place by underwear or mesh briefs. Made by Medline.
The 4.5" x 14.25" size fits in standard postpartum mesh briefs. Cold packs are typically used intermittently during the first 36 to 48 hours after delivery. A case of 24 is sized for a labour-and-delivery unit or postpartum ward.
