Sold individually (1/Each). The Med-Aire Plus 8" is an alternating-pressure and low-air-loss mattress system with a digital control unit, in 80-inch and 84-inch lengths.
The digital control unit offers four cycle times and adjustable comfort-weight settings for the right immersion. Three diagnostic audio and visual alarms warn about air pressure, the system, or power. The mattress uses 20 individual cell-on-cell air cells with a pillow section, which prevent bottoming out and give up to 24 hours of power-outage protection. The 8-inch cells remove quickly for cleaning or replacement.
It is used to prevent, treat, and help heal pressure ulcers on a homecare or long-term-care bed.
