The flexible gel structure spreads pressure and reduces shear and friction for someone with limited seated tolerance or at risk of pressure ulcers. An open-cell design and cooling hyper-elastic gel move air and resist moisture for a cooler seat. A two-way-stretch nylon cover with an antimicrobial finish is low-shear and machine washable.
It is used to redistribute pressure for a person who sits for long periods in a wheelchair or chair.
