A catheter plug is a short stopper that fits into the open end of an indwelling catheter when the drainage bag is disconnected. It lets a patient go bag-free for a short time while keeping the catheter closed. The matching drain tube cover snaps over the end of the drainage tubing so the connection stays clean between uses.
