Assura Extra-Extended Wear is Coloplast's reinforced Assura barrier designed for longer wear times than the standard Assura. The convex skin barrier is slightly raised on the skin side to press gently around a recessed or flush stoma, helping reduce leaks on uneven skin.
A urostomy pouch has a tap and valve at the bottom for draining urine and typically connects to a night-drainage bag overnight. The transparent cover lets a caregiver inspect the stoma and output without removing the pouch.
