This is a clear, all-silicone indwelling urinary catheter made by Medline. The silicone body does not react with body tissue, which makes it a good fit for longer-term indwelling use. A radiopaque strip runs along the catheter so it shows up on X-ray for position checks.
Size 18 Fr is a common adult size. The larger 30 mL balloon is used after bladder or prostate surgery when more retention pressure is needed to keep the catheter in place.
