This is a clear, all-silicone 3-way indwelling urinary catheter made by Medline. A 3-way Foley has three channels: one for the retention balloon, one for urine drainage, and one for continuous bladder irrigation. The silicone body does not react with body tissue, which makes it a good fit for longer-term indwelling use.
Size 16 Fr is the entry adult size for 3-way use. It is used with continuous bladder irrigation after prostate, bladder, or clot-related surgery, where saline is run through the catheter to flush urine and small clots out of the bladder.
