Mepitac 2cm x 3m is a soft silicone fixation tape from Molnlycke designed for gentle, secure fixation of drains, tubes, probes, electrodes, IV cannulae, and dressings. It features Safetac technology — a soft silicone adhesive that adheres gently to the skin without causing damage, irritation, or pain at removal. Mepitac leaves no residue and can be lifted and re-applied if repositioning is needed. The knitted fabric is conformable, flexible, and easy to cut to size, with a breathable waterproof polyurethane film backing. Mepitac is particularly suited for patients with fragile or sensitive skin, allergies, and skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis. It is also suitable for individuals requiring repeated tape application over the same area, such as neonates, wound care patients, ostomy patients, and dialysis patients. Mepitac can remain in place for several days. Sold individually, 1 roll per box.
