These lancets are used to collect a small drop of capillary blood from a fingertip or heel for tests such as blood glucose monitoring. Pressing the button releases the needle, which then retracts.
The 21 G needle and 1.8 mm depth suit standard adult fingerstick sampling. Each lancet is single-use and locks after firing.
