This indwelling Foley catheter is used to drain urine from the bladder over an extended period. The 16 Fr (Charrière) outer diameter is a standard adult size.
The 30 mL retention balloon at the tip is filled with sterile water after insertion to hold the catheter in place. The 2-way design has separate channels for urine drainage and balloon inflation. 100% silicone construction is fully latex-free.
